Ban laser pointers. They have no *need* to exist, and only create mischief and risk of injury.

There must be some subculture thing going on. Near the Seattle Tacoma Airport someone a month ago was using a green laser to flash at landing jet planes. The Washington State partrol airplane with thermal imaging had pictures of the guy as he ran into a house (not smart). The police have arrested one many he was tried and given a very long sentence in jail.
Is there an Internet/X-box/Nintendo game about using a laser on aircraft? Is there some kind of Internet site that pushes this kind of behavior? I find it hard to believe these are just random acts.

You’re right, so far all of the cases I’ve seen on the internet are not random cases.
Some of the people who pointed lasers at planes were true idiots and some had agendas.
