A man aged 29 has fathered 21 children with 11 different women, it emerged yesterday.
Desmond Hatchett's brood came to light after authorities in Tennessee in the U.S. took him to court for non-payment of child support.
He has apparently set a U.S. record but said: 'It just happened.'
He added that he would not have any more children. 'I'm done. I'll say I'm done,' he said.
Hatchett, who earns a minimal wage, told TV reporters he knows the names and ages of all his offspring.
Authorities in Knoxville said they plan to take half of his monthly salary to pay for the youngsters but officials said that would work out to just over £1 a week for each.

I wonder if they posted the 11 women’s pictures would you find them guilty?

We had a man in our area who fathered a totalof 25 kids with 3 women he was with, all at the same time. I think he finally married one of them. What a joke. The one young man I know is a really wonderful human being but that’s probably because his mother raised him.

I presume that should be “a UK record.”
The issue here is not that he’s so freaking fertile, it’s how he managed to hook up with so many women not using birth control.

They will all grow up and vote Democratic for sure. Probably even qualify for a Cabinet Position for this administration...

Pardon me, reading too fast.
It is indeed in the US.
I very much doubt it’s a record, though.

...and I'll wager that the Department of Welfare does too. I'll bet each of these 21 kids are receiving welf...ah, "public assistance".
It is unlikely this guy will ever earn enough to pay his share of the support of 21 children, so the taxpayers of Tennessee are forced to pay for his play. It is an offense to every man or woman who lives responsibly in that state to have to do so.

Unfortunately, his “salary” will probably turn out to be tens of millions of dollars, courtesy of you and me, and the contract will be for many many years.

We had a guy with 21 children with 21 different girls, born or on the way. But he was only 15.

Both maybe? Considering the moral virtues of today’s young gals who enjoy ‘hook-ups,’ this is definitely possible. Personally, I think he is trying to live up to Allah’s command to procreate. After all, it’s on someone else’s dime.

'It's frustrating, but usually, when I ask he gives it to me,' she said. You and half the county. Now here's the perfect reason for public castration on the courthouse lawn. It might also make other's think twice. But he is doing what The One said about spreading the wealth of the taxpayers around.

Guilty of obscene irresponsibility? Yes.

minimum wage and he knows all his kids names....how sweet. He has created one hell of a tax burden for everyone else.
I doubt it is a record from some of the exploits of past NBA great's I have read about. At least with NBA players, they make enough money to pay child support.
