No, the reality is that only 2 parties matter thus far. So it doesn’t matter if there are one hundred and 51 other parties, the spot light has been on the 2 “progressive” parties that have slowly been moving this country toward socialism.
What I mean about “saving” the parties.....are those that stick with the Republican or Democrat parties, thinking something will happen within those parties to make them more along the lines of following our constitution (less govt, less spending, no taxes, etc). Ain’t gonna happen.
That’s why something has to be done, I’m not sure what exactly, to break out of the 2 party system, because in all “reality” it’s more like a one party system with them both doing the same things.
And until and unless we start another party (and combine all the other 49 parties into that one party) and make a big third party OR we physically go in and remove this government, we’ll lose this country and what it was founded on.
That’s my theory.
Stop making sense and EV is showing those graphs trying to make us believe those Independents on that chart are the "Independents" in "his" political party which he created on his own.

Once the Republicans were a loser 3rd Party—The second most powerful party were the Whigs. Do you even remember the Animal Mascot for the Whigs? It was the Raccoon.
Not true,The Whigs were pre civil war America, the party only lasted 23 years itself (1833 to 1856), they were replaced by the Republicans.
The Republicans held their first convention on July 6, 1854 and four months later held 19% of the Congress and 25% of the Senate, six years later they held the majority in the Congress, the majority in the Senate, and they had the Presidency.
The Republicans were never really a third party at all. This is a historical story that could not be duplicated today unless you only let white male protestants vote and do it on the eve of the bloodiest war in American history and did not have two massive, well entrenched 150 year old political parties to contend with.

You really think there will be a free election in 2012? Obama will have it rigged with the Media so he gets 99% of the American Vote. He will not permit prisoners in the re-education camps to vote. Hate parties, like the KKK and the Republican will be banned. I will be with you there, along side of Glen Beck and Sean Hannity, building windmills for the People’s Republic.

I'm including EternalVigilance to correct me if I'm in error, and perhaps to explain the break if I'm correct.
In no way am I casting dispersions on Ambassador Keyes, who I don't believe has an antisemitic or anti-Israel bone in his body.
However, this is a CP "affiliate", the Constitution Party clearly not considering me, a Jew, or any non-Christian a full citizen of this nation, rather a beneficiary of amnesty. I'm not particularly interested in debating that point, it's in their "charter", can't recall what they title it.
I believe the AIP is the continuence of the party that fielded Presidential candidates like George Wallace and Lester Maddox, amongst others.
I hope this is a different AIP. If it's not, I hope they've made a clear and definitive break, because frankly that's not a legacy to run on. Better to start from scratch, or at least change the name.
And again, maybe this isn't the successor, there are several parties using this and similar names.

America's Independent Party is a brand new party which was formed last June. I'm the founder and chairman. After our founding, the American Independent Party in CA asked to affiliate with the new national party. They had been affiliated with the CP since 1992.
Yes, the original American Independent Party was the national party which nominated George Wallace. But that party doesn't really exist anymore. The American Independent Party is now made up of Reagan/Keyes pro-Israel, Peace through Strength conservatives. It looks to me like most of the remaining CP-minded folk went out the door when the national AIP affiliation took place. Our people have had to confront them in court a couple of times now, actually. They didn't get anywhere. Our people are the legally-recognized leaders of the party.

You think that you have problems with this? Think of all of the people that originally registered into the American Independent party here in California thinking that they were registering as AIP who will someday find out that their names were given over to the Constitution Party and then after a power struggle were handed over to Alan Keyes, America's Independent Party, which is different than the American Independent party which some were already confused about, (man this boutique party stuff is confusing).
By the way Keyes's party's registration (America's Independent Party) consists almost entirely of those unknowing old registrations from the old, California, American Independent Party.

Not that I believe for one minute you care a whit about AIP’s voters in California, but for the record, since the affiliation with America’s Independent Party, the American Independent Party has run a communications campaign aimed at all registered AIP voters to make sure they understand who and what the party now is. They were willing to lose registrations in order to purge the rolls.
The result? New AIP registrations have been growing at a good clip. While Republican registrations have dropped.
That was certainly an enlightening exchange. Obviously you share the same low opinions of Jewish people Alan revealed in his article in last week’s WND.
Alan Keyes can claim to support Israel, I don’t doubt that he does, but Jewish people? Oh no, Alan’s words in that article made his opinion on Jewish people obvious. If you can say one thing about Alan, he’s easy to understand and his message comes through loud and clear.
