Lock and load, Columbus.

How about they cut a bunch of police brass, city commissions and school administrators instead?

Yes, get rid of the police. But keep the 1000 bureaucrats in the Columbus gov’t.

Columbus would have 324 fewer police than it has today.

This is a good start. Ohio has too many police. We need fewer troopers.

Fear mongering works great when times are good, just like our school system in Michigan use to use every time a millage increase was requested.

Seems in bad times when everyone is having a hard time making ends meet if they are expected to do more with less then they look them in the eye and tell them to go pound sand.

2010 is looking like it might shape up to be a very good year if we can find a few true leaders to take control. When even Ca goes completely for no new taxes in every county all we need is to get our message out loud and clear.

This can’t be happening. Obama promised more law enforcement funding and the LEO unions supported him in the election.

Nope, this is not really happening.

Don't worry, Bambi is gonna provide you with a "civilian" police force.

Don't you feel safer now?

Trendy synopsis.

When are these government zealots going to finally start beating their heads against the wall and pound some sense into them and realize us overtaxed workers are finally FED UP???

PSSSST! Mr. Police Chief, we haven't got the money either, now back to your wall!

Ha! Columbus voted solidly for President Barry and has been voting for liberals for some years now.

Funny that these same liberals don't want to pay higher taxes for the programs that they wanted enacted.

I thought it was only mean spirited know-nothing Neanderthal "tea baggers" conservatives who were against paying higher taxes. I guess not.

This is liberal hypocrisy on display once again.

Notice however, no other hand out programs being threatened for deep cuts in Columbus?

This is status quo around the country now as the DimLibtards are throwing hissy fissy, pee-peeing, eye bulging, snot snorting, vein popping, gas passing, foot stomping, temper tantrums that the working class will not accept further tax increases.

So naturally, the kids, the elderly, education, and public safety have to go on the alter first. Still, no mention whatsoever to offer up free money handouts to illegals have shown up on the table???

"Current polls show 70-80% against the tax increases."

CA Props. 1A-1E redux. Here, they used the same scare tactics, like "50,000 prisoners to be released". Tax increases went down by nearly a 2-1 margin...

Snippet of Obama’s speach at the Columbus Police Academy Graduation:

Now, there were those — there were those who argued that our recovery plan was unwise and unnecessary. They opposed the necessary notion that government has a role in ending the cycle of job loss at the heart of this recession. There are those who believe that all we can do is repeat the very same policies that led us here in the first place.

(APPLAUSE)

So for those who still doubt the wisdom of our recovery plan, I ask them to talk to the teachers who are still able to teach our children because we passed this plan. I ask them to talk to the nurses who are still able to care for our sick and the firefighters and first responders who are still able to keep our communities safe. I ask them to come to Ohio and meet the 25 men and women who will soon be protecting the streets of Columbus because we passed this plan.

(APPLAUSE)

I look at these young men and women — I look into their eyes and I see their badges today, and I know that we did the right thing. These jobs and the jobs of so many other police officers and teachers and firefighters all across Ohio will now be saved because of this recovery plan; a plan that will also create jobs in every corner of this state.

Lock and load, Columbus.

Since I fear the cops far more than any other person walking down the street, this is a good thing.

The best time I ever had in Toledo was when the whole police force went on strike around 1980. It was a blast not having the "domestic terrorists" of the local police force to worry about for a few days, and nobody got hurt as I recall.

Recently I was charged with a DUI after blowing a zero on a breathalyzer. I found out later that the cops get a cut on the towing fees from the towing companies. All they have to do is claim that you were otherwise "high" on something, and they pocket $50 for filling out a little paperwork.

Talk about making somebody cynical, that will do it.

I fear the cops a lot more than any drunk driver, at least I have a chance of swerving out of the way from the drunks.
