If it is, then it’s over. I mean that. It’s over. It will mean that Americans have changed, they are no longer the Americans they were 100 years ago. They will accept whatever the government chooses for them and they will like it. It will mean there is no line in the sand, they are perfectly willing to keep moving that line back as far as they need to. Pathetic. Defeatists.

If members of a class are being treated unequally there is grounds for objection.
Essentially Obama is making a thought crime class of creditors. A clear violation of the 1st amendment freedom of association as well as the bankruptcy rules.
I hate to say it, but yes, I think it is over. Look at the socialist blitzkrieg since January. It’s been totally unopposed. The financial sector and major auto manufacturers have been essentially nationalized. 0bama’s spending commitments mean that we will be taxed into poverty to pay for it. All real productive elements of our economy are only about 18 months away from shutting down due to taxation, regulation and restricted markets. We are not far from de facto government rationing of just about everything we once relied upon getting in a free market. And even then there will be things we once took for granted that are simply not available.
The press continues to cover for 0bama and his regime, as they are already the propaganda arm of the communist party. The drumbeat of “bad news” has cowed the American public; they are now afraid of losing their material possessions, which mean more to them than their liberty. Well guess what? We’ve lost our liberty, and the material possessions are not far behind.
Yeah, I know I’m being defeatist but Rush Limbaugh warned us years ago. Once the left gets back in power, he said, they will stack the deck so that they never have to fear losing power again. Well, the deck has been stacked.
