I found this list in the local paper of the Chrysler dealerships. You may have the same or it may be different.
I'm looking at my local dealers.

I note Auto Nation on that list.

If he still owns it, Wayne Huizenga from FL,
owns the Dolphins, among other many businesses
(started Blockbuster), is a HUGE mega-billionaire,
started Auto Nation years ago, gathering up
car dealerships.

He’s a legitimate tycoon .. also a HUGE Pubbie and donor.

To make the charge really stick somebody has to do a thorough review of that data. A couple points.

1. Chrysler dealers in general (like all business owners) are probably far more likely to donate to Republicans.
2. Dealers in rural areas are probably even more likely to be Republican.
3. Dealers in rural areas are probably smaller volume and thus more vulnerable.

I doubt there was an effort to target Republican donors specifically. However I do not doubt that a big Dem donor or two pulled strings to make sure they were safe.
