Um, come and get it. Will there be a jail ward wing for citizens who break this law?

No one around here is paying the slightest attention to this latest bullshit from Washington. In fact, various parties are mocking the lib bastards by advertising items in the local classified paper that blatantly violate the newest tyrannies.

They trying to shut down the resale business completely? Is that 0bama's plan to get the economy moving... eliminate the channels to get stuff cheaper (as in used)? That dries up, then you have to buy new, or make your own from new components... that stimulates the economy, right?

Recommendation: Sell all used items as non-usable museum pieces, with prominent warning indicating that the item is unsafe for its original designed purpose and is now only suitable for display behind a protective case.

I swear that laws like this and product recalls on car seats and cribs are done so as to force parents to the new products at highly inflated prices. Its a racket.

Good luck enforcing this...idiots, one and all, who are trying to rule our lives as if we don’t realize that everything around us carries a certain amount of risk that we choose to accept...
ERrrrrrr, all government has so overstepped their usefulness in so many ways.

Will the same local cops who won’t enforce federal (i.e. immigration) laws, because that is the feds’ duty also not enforce this? At least not until they get a cut of the swag....

Did you really think we want those laws observed? said Dr. Ferris. We want them to be broken. Youd better get it straight that its not a bunch of boy scouts youre up against... Were after power and we mean it... Theres no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there arent enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? Whats there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted and you create a nation of law-breakers and then you cash in on guilt. Now thats the system, Mr. Reardon, thats the game, and once you understand it, youll be much easier to deal with. - Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged 1957

How is this supposed to help boost the economy? Force us all to shop at Walmart instead of yardsales? Please...
I've seen more dangerous toys at Dollar Tree (stuff made in China) than at anyone's yard sale.
