The California Supreme Court rules to UPHOLD Proposition 8 (which put into the California state constitution that marriage is defined as being between a man and woman)
The court also ruled on the validation of the pseudo-marriages performed before passage of Prop 8.

Well, the voters of California could have sat home and allowed queers to marry each other, of course they voted the queers down.

I think many are leaving due to the economic reversal. I have no statistics to back this up, just observation.

According to a graphic I saw (and never found again), the Asian areas (Chinatown, Richmond, Outer Sunset) in San Francisco all voted for Prop. 8., as did the black areas (Bayview, Western Addition) and hispanic (Mission) areas.
The yuppie white and gay areas voted no.

I know someone whose brother in involved in all this crap. And the rest of the family is accepting of the homo.
The someone has given the family an ultimatum, either they throw the homo out of the family, or he is changing HIS last name.

More people need to pass judgement this way.
Carlos Moreno, the only “justice” on the California Supreme Court appointed by a Democrat (Gray Davis). His term expires in 2010.
In his basement, in an otherwise empty house, one can only hope.

I have a cousin who got into an enormous fight with one of my uncles about this issue. It about split the family...she is a spoiled brat narcissist, really messed up, and a pagan witch to boot...

Don’t worry, most of those “marriages”, at least the male-male ones, given the astonishing promiscuity of “gay” men, will dissolve themselves before long.
