Geraldo, who of course knows her, is doing cartwheels! It's a great day for Hispanics, according to Geraldo.

But the coup de grâce may have come last night when Sotomayor bashing traveled outside the beltway, and on to the Late Show, where David Letterman portrayed Sotomayor as a Spanish-speaking version of Judge Judy.

It was also--or should have been--a great day for hispanics when the very, most qualified Miguel Estrada was nominated, but like so many other disappointments for the conservative cause, he never stood a chance with the liberal morons in congress. T'was a sad day for America then....a sad day indeed...just like today....another sad day to see such an unqualified candidate be nominated for the highest court in the land.
