The SCOTUS has absolutely no jurisdiction in this matter if the cross monument was not put there by an act of Congress.
I’m not sure about jurisdiction, but, apparently this is in federal court, setting the state for the Supreme Court.
I’m guessing it got to federal court because the ACLU sued in federal court to get it there, not because the Supreme Court decided on their own to intervene.
