As one who lives in rural Alaska, this is quite funny. In most places, there is no law enforcement, and the park people don't want to stir everything up. A few years back, the park boss said he was going to start checking boats for boat licenses within the park's boundarys on the river. Nobody around here ever gets state licenses, they figure as long as everybody refuses to comply, nothing the govt can do. Feds never followed thru it upset so many people, they want to get along actually. The Indians have ignored the feds for years; can't lock them all up; and they stick to together, so the feds let them completely alone. We could learn a little from them Indians 50 years removed from the stoneage.
Most Alaskans could care less what goes on in lower 48, nobody would pay attention to any new gun regulations anyway. Govt only works by voluntary complaince, otherwise you have anarchy.
