Billionaire club in bid to curb overpopulation
The Times ^ | 5/24/2009 | John Harlow

SOME of America’s leading billionaires have met secretly to consider how their wealth could be used to slow the growth of the world’s population and speed up improvements in health and education.

The philanthropists who attended a summit convened on the initiative of Bill Gates, the Microsoft co-founder, discussed joining forces to overcome political and religious obstacles to change.

Described as the Good Club by one insider it included David Rockefeller Jr, the patriarch of America’s wealthiest dynasty, Warren Buffett and George Soros, the financiers, Michael Bloomberg, the mayor of New York, and the media moguls Ted Turner and Oprah Winfrey.

These members, along with Gates, have given away more than £45 billion since 1996 to causes ranging from health programmes in developing countries to ghetto schools nearer to home.

They gathered at the home of Sir Paul Nurse, a British Nobel prize biochemist and president of the private Rockefeller University, in Manhattan on May 5. The informal afternoon session was so discreet that some of the billionaires’ aides were told they were at “security briefings”.

Stacy Palmer, editor of the Chronicle of Philanthropy, said the summit was unprecedented. “We only learnt about it afterwards, by accident. Normally these people are happy to talk good causes, but this is different – maybe because they don’t want to be seen as a global cabal,” he said.

(snip)

Why all the secrecy? “They wanted to speak rich to rich without worrying anything they said would end up in the newspapers, painting them as an alternative world government,” he said.

Population will also drop if there is a significant fall in prosperity. Fertility rates may rise, but fatality rates will rise much faster. Populations do not tend to rise when people are starving to death.

On the other hand, a sudden increase in prosperity will reduce mortality much faster than it changes reproductive habits. Posterity under those conditions will descend from those who lack prosperity. The more successful economically will be less successful in the Darwinian sense.

Setting the stage for?

You’re too kind.

They have literally PLANNED

a series of horrific holocausts.

Ted Turner has been quoted as saying that if he was reincarnated, he’d like to come back as a very deadly incurable virus.

Not to worry. They’re not talking about slowing the population of people like you and me. They’re talking about third-world countries.

Don't be so sure. The uneducated, unsophisticated, and poor are far easier to control.

I beg to differ. WE are one of the main groups they would like to dispense with. WE pose the greatest threat to their control of the world. We, the *clingers*, must be reprogrammed or removed.

WRONG.

They ARE particularly talking about folks like us.

FREEPERS must be on the ‘early-to-terminate’ lists.

Anyone not compliant about worshiping satan and his stooges . . . is slated for extermination.

Not arguing the stats.

My memory of that thought experiment was decades old.

That eliminates any concerns about citizens confronting corruption (accuse a cop of stealing, witness is accused of a crime and killed).
It also ends retrials that find anyone innocent.
And can be used to solve overpopulation promptly.

They seem to think they are devising a slick smooth well oiled sustainable society.

They also are not counting on Almighty God being in the picture at all.

Clueless idiots.

"I’m okay with their taking a look at this."

'their taking a look at this?" You have got to be joking right? Pleae tell me you are joking.

Your ideas are exactly what enabled Hitler to kill anybody he deemed unworthy. Here I will re-write yours to be relevant in 1933. I will change only 4 words.

Nobody appointed them to this task, but they’re going to get involved anyway. And I’m kind of glad to see them start to face the JEWISH issue again. The calculus of an ever-growing JEWISH population that is entitled to be given equal share of whatever lifestyle the developed world achieves is—as hard as it is for Freepers to read—unsustainable. It is a political, economic and ecologic disaster. Thinking such hard thoughts, instead of simply rushing in to JEWISHareas with forms of aid that merely lead to more JEWISHpeople in perpetual need, has been verboten for 20+ years. David Packard of HP fame, as pragmatic an engineer that ever lived, and he’s the last entrepreneurial titan I can recall to have addressed the dynamic. I’m okay with their taking a look at this."

After looking at this I am sure the annointed ones will come up with an appropriate FINAL SOLUTION. Will you support it?

My assumption? They’re not talking about people like you and me or the majority of the developed world where populations are barely growing at all. They’re looking at the countries where virtually no one can support him or herself at a livable level, yet they are multiplying like crazy. Perpetual famine and poverty with rapidly growing numbers.

Absolutely.
I wonder why these geniuses don’t realize that with their intelligence they should be able to figure out how it is that God wants to BLESS us with children, and fill the earth, providing for them and, following the Green laws in the Old Testament (including no fences), take care of this most magnificent gift, our planet. Where there is a will, there is a way. Use your imagination, Barney. I see big beautiful cities filled with Glorifying art and music, and FFFFOOOODDDDD, great wines, grown in the most efficient, top soil saving way. There is just so much we could be doing instead of turning the planet back to the days of the dinosaur, which was not healthy for man, or God would have created us then. :)

Excellent example of the hideousness of their plans.

Clever object lesson.

Me too.

I wonder . . . what the world’s population was in 1975, say.

And what that would be divided into Texas acreage.

You are correct, it is why we have thousands of illegals sneaking in to the country everyday.
