"Hope," "Change," And Lawsuits: Obama's Battle For American Collectivism

It’s not about you.

It doesn’t matter who “you” are. It’s no longer about your rights as an individual, or the on-going need to safeguard the rights of all individuals. No, at this stage in the American story, It is now about Barack Obama’s need to save everybody, and, thus, it is the “collective good” that matters.

It is now clear that President Obama is on a mission to convert the U.S. to “collectivism.” This, presumably, was part of what he was conveying during his campaign, when he promised “change” for America.

As I count it right now, there are two clear, strong high crimes and misdemeanors for which the Usurper ought to be impeached and removed from office:

1) Bribery. Michelle Obama was given a $300,000+ per year sinecure by her employer, the University of Chicago Hospitals, shortly after the Usurper became U.S. Senator from Illinois. Shortly thereafter, the Usurper obtained a $1,200,000 earmark for the U.C. Hospitals. Rod Blagojevich was indicted for just this type of conduct, among other things. Obama needs to be impeached for it.

2) Conspiracy to steal Chrysler's assets from their rightful owners, the secured bond holders. This article, and the law suit that's been filed by the Indiana pension funds show Obama has no legal or constitutional basis for the Chrysler restructuring deal; in other words it's pure theft by conspiracy and outright intimidation.

Collectivism is a term used to describe any moral, political, or social outlook, that stresses human interdependence and the importance of a collective, rather than the importance of separate individuals. Collectivists focus on community and society, and seek to give priority to group goals over individual goals.[1][2] The philosophical underpinnings of collectivism are for some related to holism or organicism[dubious – discuss] - the view that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts/pieces. Specifically, a society as a whole can be seen as having more meaning or value than the separate individuals that make up that society. [3] Collectivism is widely seen as being opposed to individualism. Notably these views are sometimes combined in systems.

"Now that President Obama’s philosophical leanings have been revealed, America needs to know where the rest of the Congress stands. Do the members of Obama’s Democratic Party - the party “in charge” - share in the President’s collectivist vision? Are Pelosi, Reid, and the Democratic leadership willing to cast aside the freedom of the individual person, so one man can fulfill his hopes and aspirations for what he believes America should look like?"

It's about time we bring this into the open and force congress to admit they support communism or not.

While it is quite true that Obama is attempting to subvert our constitutional understanding of government as well as the Declaration of Independence by shifting the legitimacy of government from the rights of the individual to the power of the collective, the analysis can be refined even more.

The problem with allocating the benefits and burdens of government according to the collective is that the commonweal is too ungainly to facilitate fair allocation and burden sharing. Not everyone can get the benefits and not everyone must lift the burden. In practice, there can be no collectivism. So to stay true to the collective mentality, the statist allocates benefits and burdens according to groups which go to make up the collective whole.

Thus we see the left favoring hate crime legislation to advantage homosexuals and disadvantage traditional Christians. We saw Obama require Chrysler bondholders to lose their rights at law so that he could favor a different group, the UAW, a union which is consistently financed and supported Democrats and Obama. In this instance we begin to see the inevitable infiltration of corruption into the process. Obama wants to censor talk radio by favoring minority groups in ownership of radio stations.

As he succeeds in junking our capitalist system and our Constitution, it will not matter what your legal rights are; it will matter only what sort of group pedigree you can boast. The power of the state to cause individuals to sell out to the system is almost irresistible. We have seen it already in bankers and Wall Street investment bankers flipping and kowtowing so they can get on the gravy train. We see the disgraceful spectacle of MS NBC shilling for Barak Obama so that the parent company, NBC, can reap billions of dollars of energy subsidies.

I have often posted that in America all politics are not local but racial. That was the initial foot in the door and that principle of distorting the Constitution for the benefit of that racial group has become second nature to American politicians. Indeed, our entire culture has been so indoctrinated with this pernicious philosophy, this Meme, a kind of cultural genetic mutation, that it has gotten us to the point where we elected a president we did not vet, possessed of a philosophy which is now about to ruin us.

Deep within the leftist grail of collectivism is the cronyism, corruption, and favoritism which sets one group in America against another.

Bribery and theft are definitely crimes and not political crimes at that.

Let's move on to additional high crimes and misdemeanors. How about his budget plan and this IS the plan, to have trillion dollar deficits as far as the eye can see. After just 4 months in office, his Plan already underestimates this years deficit by at least $350 billion dollars. His plan already is about to cost the US of A it's AAA bond rating. His plan has already set actions into motion by China and Brazil to drop the US Dollar as their medium of exchange and as reserve currency. His actions has already destroyed two auto companies and thousands of auto dealerships. His plan is already deepening and worsening the recession.

His answer is 'but Bush started it'.

This would be an interesting pool to put together. Pick the date that Obama leaves office. It could be as normal on January 29th, 2013 or it could be earlier or later? Re-elected? President for Life?

There should be no doubt in anyone’s mind at this point. 0bama is a Super-Marxist. His goal is the economic and social subjugation of the entire population, save only those who are ‘on his side’.

His plans are cut right out of the socialist philosophy, and they are being enabled at breakneck speed, with little or no discussion or debate.

It’s time to take back the country.

Jabba, I am guessing that he will try for "President for Life"

The worst of that will be that in order to initiate the perceived necessity for it, he will have to either cause to happen or take advantage of some really awful national disaster that brings the country to a position too awful to even imagine.

What we are discussing here should be the focus of all the TEA PARTIES. We need to zero in to this one important issue (the fate of America, our Constitution and our freedom), refrain from carrying posters and speaking on all the many side issues (abortion, marriage, high taxes, etc, etc). Important though they all be..... first and foremost we have to take back control of the government and the country. If we do not, then all those other issues will be a moot point.

Absolutely, and that's the way the framers intended it. Going any farther stretches the definition of "high crimes and misdemeanors" to the point where political actions and decisions of a duly elected president can be improperly criminalized, as the DemonRats have tried to do to Bush II, Bush I, and Reagan. That's the road to totalitarianism and civil war.

OTOH, a president, the most powerful official in the country, cannot be allowed to be an out and out criminal and use the immense power of the Federal government to enable his criminal enterprises. IMHO, that's exactly what Obama did with the Michelle sinecure in return for the $1,200,000 earmark and is doing with the clear theft of the bondholders' rights, performed exclusively for his private political benefit and the illegal and unconstitutional economic benefit of his UAW accomplices, in the GM and Chrysler cases.
