Pesonally, I have thought that there should be NO presidential palace at 1600...!!!!!
Nor all the other minor gubmint palaces right down to community level.
An abandoned strip—mall with chain link fence surrounding it and those concrete barriers now so commonly seen all over— seems appropriate enough!
