From years in the EMS business I know firsthand that a person of about 350 pounds is about the maximum that can be accommodated on an ambulance gurney. While newer equipment is being built to hold more weight, the problem is patient size. Someone weighing 750 pounds simply will not fit on the gurney nor likely in the doors of an ambulance or hearse. Note the apparent size of the body in the photo and tell me what type of conveyance would be needed to carry it other than a flatbed truck.
