Bet Romney checked the pollsYou beat me to it. - that was my exact thought, as well.
To be fair, at least he is not defending mccain in this one.

If Gitmo is a recruiting tool for terrorism, then why isn't the beheadings of white American males , shown on CNN, a recruitment tool for American Patriotism?

I’m not a Romney fan, he’s part of the Bush machine. No more Bushes. Mitt and Jeb can just go away and Charlie Crist. Go pound sand.

Did Cheney look frail in his presentation? NO. Is being a leader physically stressing? NO. Would runnin the USA be physical hard work? NO! For the task at hand and ahead, Dick Cheney certainly looks ready, willing and able.
Who can argue that Cheney is not RIGHT or is not CONSEVATIVE or is not a strong sensable voice in this darkness?
In the days ahead there may be another equal or even greater leader come forth, until that day I say

No one claims John McCain was not truly tortured by the Vietnamese. America has repaid him to some degree with a relatively cushy life since Vietnam and a chance to lead America.
Had he EVER been subjected to waterboarding from his NV captures he, no doubt would have enjoyed the mildness of this “torture” and the opportunity to bathe.
Mc Cain needs to shut up and go away. We gave him his chance and he blew it. Now it only makes our pain worse to have him keep kissing up to the damn libs and rubbing our nose in it.

McCain should know better. He must understand what the procedure consists off. And he was brutally tortured by our enemy. If he cannot see that nothing was torture at Gitmo in the traditional sense he is one stupid dude.
Three people water boarded that yielded significant info on future attacks etc.. Does McPain think giving them a lolly pop would convince them to spill the beans as to what say American city was next in line to get bombed.

mcpain is a republican ONLY because when he first ran, that was the only position open. He’s NO Republican..he’s a wannabe public face to whatever will make him look like he knows something. The only reason I voted for him was, he was the only rino-republican on the ticket and because of the Cuda.

And all this talk of TORTURE by waterboarding...it was done ONLY THREE (3) TIMES to to muslim terrorists at Gitmo, but has been done MANY time to OUR OWN cadets, so they know what it is like. HOW ABOUT THEM APPLES, members of our sorry elected congress.

I don’t really trust Newt. Seems to me he flows with the wind of what looks like a political win. He’s flip-flopped too many times...and he’s a DC politician.

Newt is Mitt’s short dumpy twin. Two insincere peas in a pod.
