STS-125 Landing Blog
After a successful mission, space shuttle Atlantis and crew are now scheduled to return to Earth on Sunday after completing the final servicing flight to NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope.
Bad weather at the prime landing site, NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, has delayed their return for two days. Mission control in Houston is now targeting the first landing opportunity tomorrow at Kennedy, which comes at 10:11 a.m. EDT. There is also one additional Kennedy landing opportunity tomorrow, as well as two at the alternative landing site at Edwards Air Force Base in California.
Join us right here at 8:30 a.m. EDT for moment-to-moment coverage of Atlantis’ return.
