So an entity that is trillions in debt is going to guarantee loans given to an entity that is billions in debt.

Welcome to bankruptcy court.

Blue State. Lots of Dim Voters. The One will bail them out on the tax payer’s dime. The One doesn’t care about Joe Average.

I would imagine government workers, union thugs/leeches and entitlement people make up the bulk of the 24%.

Voters in California need to face the consequences of their increasingly stupid choices. Given the size of it’s congressional delegation, the rest of the country has been been suffering with what they’ve foisted on us for a long time. When you give us Boxer, Pelosi, Waxman and Waters, forgive us if we don’t feel your pain.

the feds refused to stop the influx of illegals, we had federal mandates requireing money be spent on illegals. the voters in californazia voted a law in to end all public assistance to illegals, schools, welfare, health care (cept for emergency life saving stuff) etc...
the liberal nazi judges threw that law out.

yes good old Presidente Jorge el Busho allowed the illegals to invade for 8 long years. Good old Busho, who the rest of the nation helped vote in did indeed cause the illegal probelm to grow, and that is costing us in californazia.

still we had liberal politicans in california that did some bad stuff, over spent, but then again, so did El Jorge el Busho, no child left behind, prescription drug benifits, good ole el Busho (elected by the nation) suported the first big bail out to wall street in his last days. this is paid by californians. in fact becuase california is expensive to live in, many californians live on a higher salary than most folks that live in other states with lower costs of living.
what this effectivly means is that californians who must earn more to live here, are stuck in a higher tax bracket.
that means an average say plumber in california ends up paying a lot more in federal taxes than say a plumber from Alabama. we get hit with more taxes cuase we have to earn more, AND we are forced to pay a higher percentage becuase of the escalating tax brackets.

that said the feds should not give the state money. saying no to givin them money is the only way to stop the liberal’s spending habits out here in california. we got teh liberals in a vice right now, teh california voters have spoken, no more taxes, we dont need the feds to come in and give these liberals anymore money to spend, they need to end spending.
what tehfeds can do to help is immediatly stop illegal immigration, and start deportation on a mass scale.

the feds could lay off on EPA rules that make our gasoline the amoung the most expensive in the nation becuase it has to be special blend. the fed’s should end the punitive tax brackets that now rob more money from folks that have high cost of living. time to have one fixed tax rate for all!! (or at least a cost of living adjustment for high cost locations!!)

the feds have alot to do with californias probelms, they could help fix things by changing laws (or enforcing the ones on illegals) so that our costs can go down, The feds could help out by eliminating expensive mandates that are unfunded, by making taxes lower. this will help. californians are sick and tired of the higher taxes we end up paying the feds becuase of cost of living, we are sick of the illegals robbing tax money form us (as evidenced by out vote to end the payments)

Yes california could use alot of help from the Feds, what I ask is for teh feds to butt out, and stop taxing us. that will do the most good to help out.

californains helped pay for rebuilding new orleans, the 9-11 clean up, we help subsidize home heating oil on teh east coast. (have east coasters ever offered to subsidize my energy bill????)

all I ask is not for the feds money, I ask for the feds to stop forcing us to spend. I ask that teh Feds round up the illegals, do teh job of national defense. i an sick and tired of these scummy illegals. heck we didnot even have a strong boarder cannidate in the president race, good old Mc Lame was open boarder!!! good greif!!!!!

if we had no illegals to pay for, out budget probelms would basically be gone. we got the bulk of them, send in the army and remove these invaders.

As a Kalifornia resident I need all to understand one thing!

We need to fight this fight without help!

This state has screwed it’s taxpayers without mercy. We are turning the tables on the libs here and don’t want our state to get bailed out!

I hope you all don’t have riots... Cutting off teacher union employees, welfare and student grants to the entitled classes is not going to go over big.

California liberals like to act like they are running a country. They are a State. They don’t have to pay for New Orleans - that was leftists mugging for the Katrina cameras. Multiply that by a million leftist stunts and you have California’s budget.

Your cost of living will go down with housing prices - down 36% just april 08 - april 09. The bubble in California was extremely exaggerated. You will always have even higher taxes on gas because leftists - mugging for the global warming cameras - wacked you good. That was “fiscally conservative” and extremely stupid Arnie.

Everyone feels the same way as California...weary of the Federal government on our backs.

Stay away from areas where riots will break out when the welfare checks and student grants stop coming in. The sense of entitlement there is over the top.

tell me how I can have my taxes directed only to california and not new orleans. I would be most suprised to find that californians dont have to pay for that!!!!
yeah we are a state, so lets get the feds to do their primary main job, defend aginst invasion.. yes liberals in other states (that dont have to pay for californias illegal problems) have voted in liberal in washington that have screwed california with open boarders.

do you know of so I can redirect New Orleans rebuild money from my federal taxes to building a damn wall on the southern california boarder???? is that not the feds job???? why is the fed sticking california with these illegals, and making califorinians pay for rebuilding a city in a swamp in another “state” as you put it????.

No one will loan the feds money to cover the deadbeat loans of the state of Kalifornia. So what is happening is all that can happen. Kalifornia is now flat broke and bankrupt busted and the feds will either have millions on the unemployment line instantly or the feds will print more dollars and we will all pay for the cost to default on those loans. At this point in time I would recommend cutting the dead boat anchor from the boat. The Fed could also sock the state with 10 % of the national debt. Instantly the Fed's credit rating increases. I am telling you all, Aztland is starting to not look that bad. And heck, apparently the Feds cannot prosecute you !/sarc.

My letter to the Sac Bee:

Dear Bee:

Here's what now:

1. Eliminate all services to illegals except any emergency care needed to get them back to their country. 3. Cut pay for all state employees making over 3,000 a month.

4. Reduce or eliminate the state capital gain tax.

5. Reduce the state income tax by 2%.

6. Reduce administrative positions in school districts.

7. Build 20 nuclear power plants in the next 20 years.

8. Eliminate legislative staff positions like the elevator operators in the capitol building.

9. Cut state and local pensions back to the level of 1998. 11. Cal spends 9,000 a year per school student. I propose we give vouchers in ten school districts for $7,000 per student. A classroom of 25 would cost $175,000 instead of $225,000. They could easily pay the teacher half of that and use the rest for admin, equipment, supplies etc.

There are 6.3 million students in Cal. If you do the entire system, you save $12 bill a year and introduce competition into the education system.

12. More oil exploration and drilling.

Welcome to bankruptcy hell. There will be a day of reckoning despite what dear leader, PeLIESi, Terminator or anyone else tells you. You cannot spend beyond your means forever.
