I wonder what the damage will be in the smaller cities closer to the epicenter? I can’t imagine building codes in rural Mexico are very stringent if they exist at all.
This earthquake was quite deep - 60 miles. It’s hard for an M 5.7 that is that deep to do damage anywhere.
