Pelosi was playing the "news cycle game." She laid low till the news petered out---then reemerges as if nothing happened. Worked for Obama, ACORN, Teddy, the Clintons, and many other pols.....And look how effective it was for ballplayer Alex Rodriguez....he's back on top, none the worse for lying about his illegal steroid use.

I watched "Her Highness" wave off reporters' questions this AM. She doesn't know it---but she has entered into her "I'm Untouchable; I'm the Speaker; You are All Just Peons" phase.
