It really is a shame that VP Cheney didn’t want to run for President in 2008. He would have wiped 0bama with truth and great speeches.
Schieffer must be having a conniption having to admit that Dick Cheney was better than 0bama. Anybody listening would know it easily but having Schieffer admit it is priceless.

Unfortunately, I don't think Cheney's health would survive a presidential campaign, unless he could do it by video.
Pay attention to his breathing when he speaks. It is labored at best.

There is no way Cheney would have won in 2008. The Obama team’s mantra was “Bush, Bush, Bush” and that is really how they won.
I do believe Cheney would have a chance in 2012 after this debacle of an Obama presidency.

It really is a shame that VP Cheney didnt want to run for President in 2008. He would have wiped 0bama with truth and great speeches. Two problems with that.
First, Cheney would have had to survive the incredibly idiotic, two-year long, primary campaign.
And second, the MSM hates Cheney so much that he'd never get his great speeches on the air at all without piles of media opinion to "refute" every point.
