And it was all so unnecessary. All they would have had to do was to pass a law lowering taxes to, oh, say 5%, on interest and gains from corporate bonds. We’d have seen a flood of investments in all aspects of business.
It would have cost the government (taxpayers) nothing.

The socialist bail outs have nothing to do with money. It's sole purpose is to impose more regulations and expand government with the goal of replacing our Democratic Republic and free market economy with socialism.
