Sorry...it looked good. But the facts just aren't there.
It’s been posted several times here but doesn’t appear to have the least amount of validity.
Americans for Freedom of Information don’t appear to exist. Just a nasty attack on anyone seeking info.
april 1? fools day
April 1, 2009
The story is dated April 1st, that should tell you something.
New tag line.
They are trying to make us look stupid for asking the question.
The question remains, Why did they bury Barry’s past?
This clown needs to leave post haste...regardless of his Birf Certifikate. He is a waster in the truest Atlas Shrugged sense.
I know. But we are not going to be deterered by the commie propaganda and hiding of records. We will pull these documents out of Obama’s marxist fingers sooner or later.
You know, put it out on April 1st, throw in a couple of loose facts and it makes the whole concept of the BC issue look conspiratorial.
/tinfoil hat - wishful thinking
This keeps popping up tonight but the source disappears....
I saw the earlier thread by a newbie and the link wouldn’t work so I thought it might not be true.
Ahhh well, forget the ping - just go on about what you were doing - cringe.....
Amen.
Election Day?
I got this as a forward and almost fell over thinking it was true. I had heard Occidental was served with a subpoena to release Obama’s college records awhile ago. I went to USJF website and there were articles but not about these college records. Then I googled and someone was actually named as the hoax writer of the email. The reason I checked is because this was too big to not hear about either here or elsewhere. And it was casually being forwarded and not many saying anything about it.
I do not think this factcheck article is totally true. I offer this one article as a maybe the Occidental records were requested. And I may have other information on the rest of it that fectcheck says is untrue.

Attorney Gary Kreep with the United States Justice Foundation, a public interest law firm, who is representing Keyes, served Occidental College with a subpoena for Obamas records.
Occidentals lawyer, Stuart W. Rudnick of Musick, Peeler & Garrett, faxed the subpoena to Obamas Attorney Frederic D. Woocher of Strumwasser & Woocher, acknowledging it appeared valid on its face and the college would have no choice other than to comply with the subpoena absent a court instructing otherwise.
Woocher subsequently contacted Kreep regarding the subpoena, stating, It will likely not surprise you to hear that President-elect Obama opposes production of the requested records, and asked whether he would be willing to agree to voluntarily cancel or withdraw the subpoena.
If it became necessary instead to file a motion to quash to the subpoena and Obama prevailed, Woocher said full monetary sanctions would be sought.
In reaction to these events, Keyes posted on his blog, It confirms the common sense suspicion that he wont act forthrightly in this matter because he has something to hide.
Now I am headed to see if Keyes did post about this.
urban myth, sadly.
