What happens is the media knows Cheney is smart and when he talks he can connect to thoughtful people. The media constantly demonizes him because he is a real conservative and he is smart. He gets the Palin treatment.
So you don’t hear from him in months and in the interim - the left wing media has been calling him the evil devil for months. You then hear him again and say “Oh my God - this guy is smart and he gets it.”
He is not flashy - just good old American common sense & lots of smarts which is sadly lacking in DC or on TV.
Obama was bent over and violated like a thin wristed inmate today. Now if Cheney can pull out that weather machine and send a hurricane to 1600 Pennsylvania we could all rest easier.
