The fun part of all of this will be when the transferred prisoners go ballistic when they realize that U.S. Federal prisons don’t have the same amenities as Club Gitmo. The grass isn’t always greener....
As the father of a son who was at “ground Zero” on 9-ll I sadly opine that IMHO it will take yet another simular (or greater) terrorist attack on US soil before the majority of the American sheeple actually wake up and realize they are, and have been, totally “duped” by obama

Lord, please remove Obama from his position of power. Let his own corrupt nature bring him down, Lord. Let the wickedness that he has done throughout his life catch up with him, and bring about his downfall. He does not deserve to be where he is, he is destroying the country, Lord. We need a leader who builds us up, not tears us down. We need a leader who doesn’t takeover prvate businesees and strongarm corporate officers with threats of PR destruction by the DC media, we need a leader who wants American businesses and business people to prosper. We do not need a leader who gives nuclear plants to other countries, we need a leader who will allow us to build the newest, safest nuclear power plant designs here at home.
Lord, Obama is dismantling the country. It may deserve to be dismantled. But Lord, please do not allow that to occur. Let Obama’s wrongdoings from the present and past come back to haunt him, and take him down. The country cannot survive with him at the helm, Lord, he needs to be removed. Remove him by his own underhandedness, Lord.

Once again this man is wrong, wrong, wrong. Apparently he isn't aware, but more likely chooses not to be aware, that one of the largest growing "religious" populations in prison is Muslim. There are many young men converting while in prison.
So...he is saying there will be NO members the religion of peace, who are released from prison, that will engage in jihad. I say you bet there'll be many who'll be happy to be a defacto member of the Taliban and will have learned the techniques at the feet of Taliban minions in prison. Great idea zero - not.
Stopped reading at that point. The author is clueless. If by "torture", he is referring to waterboarding, that occurred elsewhere, in "CIA secret prisons". Any reporter worth a damn knows this. KSM was waterboarded in March 2003. He did not make it to Gitmo until September 2006.
As Gitmo is a military prison, and only the CIA was authorized to waterboard, the waterboarding had to occur elsewhere.
