Secretary of Steak, Hillary Rodham Clinton, was an excellent choice by Obomba, proving his proweress at staffing an administration. Hillary's main concern is that there will be enough hairy-legged, shaggy underarmed wives of arab leaders for her to kiss.

And yet, America’s Jewish population is overwhelmingly for Obama, nevertheless. Go figure.

Jack, you Hammered the nail squarely on its head.

Hard for me to give a damn about Israel when American Jews vote against Israeli interests election after election.

The problem is that Israel is our best - and virtually only reliable - ally in the Middle East. To alienate Israel leaves us reliant on the character and integrity of the Moslem people and their rulers, and that’s not something you want when you’re attempting to formulate an effective Middle East foreign policy.

In this, as in so many areas, the current administration strikes out on common sense.

The Obama administration should do so, as well. They’re gonna find out the hard way that relying on the integrity of Moslem rulers in the region when formulating foreign policy is a formula for betrayal and disaster. It’s only a matter of time before events wise up the policy-makers in the White House.

With all the derelicts with which this clueless commie has stacked the administration, a normal human being would have trouble sleeping at night.

I have always supported Israel.
I just wish American Jews would.

As for Israel being our ally? We’ll see here in the near future if Israel attacks Iran and how we react.
Do you have ANY confidence in obamma lamma ding dong doing the right thing and supporting Israel?
I rather believe that if Israeli jets enter Iraqi airspace obamma lamma will have our air force go after them.
No confidence in obamma .

My guess is that if Bibi made a $50 million donation to Bill Clinton’s foundation, our Secretary of State suddenly would see Israel in a whole new light.

“Do you have ANY confidence in obamma lamma ding dong doing the right thing and supporting Israel?”

Actually, I don’t have any confidence in the current administration doing the right thing in ANY matter of policy.

I can’t say I’m losing sleep over it; however, when I consider the direction in which this administration is taking America, my waking hours are a good deal more uncomfortable than they otherwise might be.

This weekend, in my town, during Memorial Day Weekend in the United States of America, there is to be a re-dedication of the Honor Roll of local Jewish men who have served their country. I will, sadly, not be there.
To attend will be to stand with people who betray that for which these heroes served, suffered, and in some cases gave their all.
I will NOT stand with people who laud, applaud and celebrate HE who is ready and willing to betray not only his own country, but he who overtly acts to betray what is NOT my country, but the country of my people, my religion, and my own admiration.
I will NOT make further donations those groups, cloaked in the mantle of “Judiasm” whose very leaders join those who would destroy me.
And it is not ME, at my age I realize that it is 5 minutes to 12, rather it is my FUTURE being betrayed, in the lives of my grandchildren.
When the desired result does occur, there will be a cry across the land, “How did..how could...this happen AGAIN.”
How tragic to know the answer..”It is what YOU asked for. It is what YOU voted for. It is what YOU refused to see coming.”

And yet, America’s Jewish population is overwhelmingly for Obama, nevertheless. Go figure.

How about figuring out why 54% of Catholics and 45% of Christians voted for Obama?

Out of his 66 million vote totals, 53.5 million of them are Christians and Catholics, and only slightly more than 1 million are Jewish. Basically, a 50-to-1 advantage.

Historically, going back to 1920, around 75% of American Jews voted Democratic, with the exception of Reagan in 1980 and George Bush in 2004, who polled 36% to 44% of the Jewish vote.

Also, historically speaking, liberal Democrats have not always been the universal pariahs that they are today nor have conservative Republicans always been the clear-headed, righteous, and American patriots of the Reagan era.

About 78% of American Jews are liberals, but they don't vote like other groups of liberals. Believe it or not, America's policies towards Israel and her enemies are what drive their choices.

Reagan's strong stance on Israel as an ally, before and after the election, is what drew him so much support from the Jewish community. Conversely, Reagan alienated a lot of the Jewish population by casting his lot with the Christian Right and inviting them to join in making policy decisions about domestic issues.

Wherever and whenever religion and politics mix, Jews are the ones made to suffer the consequences. That's why whenever conservative Republicans get too chummy with Evangelicals, Jews on both sides of the political spectrum head Left.

Unfortunately, being liberal means listening to liberal programming in the media and public broadcasting that has become decidedly anti-Israel, but it has done so gradually and over time as Arabs and Muslims became more involved in acedemia and politics, using the paucity of Middle Eastern history that all Americans have to push their own revisionist versions.

Those who are ignorant of the truth are more prone to believing lies and being manipulated by those who practice lying as an integral part of their religious and/or political ideology. The shift away from Israel and towards the Arab countries was all part of a carefully calculated effort to revise all aspects of Middle Eastern history to where the Muslims were seen as the extant founders and dominant contributors to modern civilization, and to use this faux renaissance to shape public opinion about Christian "imperialism" (aka, the Crusades) and Jewish "Zionism" (aka, the "Occupation").

I was taught in public school that the Crusades were all about Christian aggression towards nonbelievers, Jews and Muslims alike. It wasn't until I read Robert Spencer's "The Politicially Incorrect Guide to Islam," did I realize that I had been sold a bunch of Leftist/Marxist/Muslim bullsh*t. The first thing I did after reading it was to give it to my daughter to read. Boy, were her eyes opened!

I'm hoping that more American Jews will start reading about the true history of the Arab-Isralei conflict so that they will see on which side of the fence sit the Jew haters.

“Believe it or not, America’s policies towards Israel and her enemies are what drive their choices.”

Sorry, I don’t buy it. Obama’s position is clearly a denigration of American relations with Israel to the extent that Israel could cease to exist within the coming four years; nevertheless, Jews voted for him in huge numbers.

As to why Catholics (who ARE Christians, by the way) and Protestants voted for him, that’s another story for another day.

I’ve been hearing that Liberal Jews are not happy campers with Obama and his policies towards Israel. The assumption and percentages cited that claim Jews still support Hitler Jr seem distorted.

I’ve said this before and I will continue to state that the GOP has done very little to expose the RATs anti-semitic views and they’ve done nothing to increase the numbers of Jews voting Republican. The leadership of the GOP, at this point, are spineless, gutless SCHMUCKS.

I pray that Bibi has contacts within the American Jewish communities to inform American Jews about what Hitler Jr. is up to with regards to Israel and her security.

As I noted many times, BHO has surrounded himself with and is comfortable in the company of disreputable characters including domestic terrorists, antisemites, and racists, but the case that he's antisemitic or anti-Israel not only hasn't been made, but has been denied by the GOP, so we'll just have to wait for actions.
