It *is* an interesting thought. Kits for semi-auto PPsH were available a few years ago, but I thought the price was a little high for what you got.

The high current price of ammo is what makes this so attractive, and it is likely to have dropped considerably by the time the project could get into gear. Or, if things get *really* bad, the logistical problems would become nearly insurmountable.

I am betting that in two years, we will be able to buy large quantities of excellent ammo and good rifles for very reasonable prices. Let us hope so.

Since this caliber is still popular “east,” perhaps Saiga might give it a go? I’d buy one.

I know a guy with a semi auto PPSH and is very happy with it. Hes got a stockpile of ammo and considers it a very viable PDW.
