I actually have the Saiga .308. I'm about the order a Tromix trigger group for it and the Tapco telescoping stock for it to make it a more tactical rifle. The only problem is that high-cap mags are darn nearly $50 for it. Although, on the Saiga forums a guy is working on a mod to be able to use high-cap metal mags.
I would like to take it out and shoot it but as much as .308 ammo is right now I'm afraid to use any of mine up.

Stay away from the mags made by FBSC or whatever theyre called, and the surefire ones. I hear they both suck.
I have a friend whose turned his 223 saiga into an AK and somehow its worked over to take 35 round Israeli Galil mags.
Right now Im just interested in the shotgun most of all. Ive got an SKS and an Olympic M4 carbine for homeland defense.
