A Knox Central High School Math Teacher, 28-year old Jason Davis was arrested Tuesday for 2nd Degree terroristic threatening.
He is accused of threatening to kill 500 people and put his school in the national news on the last day of school.
Superintendent Walter Hulett says he didn't want to take the accusations lightly, sparking the investigation.
Davis sat down with 27 NEWSFIRST and says this was all a misunderstanding. He says he was stressed but not threatening
How do we know this isn’t a tough teacher and there are enough kids who hate him or are flunking to concoct this story.
If it’s a public skewl, possible. Generally, privates have better kids and better parents. Generally I said.
Publics have to take them all. From jail, wherever.

He says on the video that when he went in to the classroom he found that someone had stolen the markers for the whiteboard. He asked if anyone knew where they were, they said “no,” and he blew up.
It could be pretty hard to teach a math class without any markers to write on the board with.
What we don’t know is what he said, or whether he really crossed the line. Or what his earlier experience had been with that class.
As for the article, it really says nothing at all.
