Hampton is an interesting guy, but he wants to repeal DOMA.

"The potential GOP field includes Fairfield City Councilwoman Catherine Moy and businessman Chris Bunch. A potentially stronger candidate, if he were to get into the race, would be Contra Costa County Sheriff Warren Rupf. Tom Del Beccaro, the state GOP vice chairman, is also said to be considering a bid."

this POST was a complete DUD! The headline killed interest. Gotta find something without DEMs in the headline.

Thank you, although we do have a de facto “Halls Income Tax”, so to speak. Our rodent friends have always found a way of bypassing explicitly forbidden actions (with one most famously being that it is illegal our Revised Missouri Plan for the selection of judges by an elite group of radical liberal trial lawyers - and it was even voted down by the people in the 1970s, but the rodent legislature implemented it, anyway and gave us the finger). We’ll be getting rid of it soon and going back to partisan elections for judges, especially our State Supreme Court (which is 4D-1R, and the “R” was picked by our current rodent Governor who was pissed because the judicial review board wouldn’t give him a Black radical in their final choices, although he eventually stuck him on an Appellate Court last year, weeee).

Anyway, I’m sure our beloved national chairman will ignore this race (and the Solis vacancy, the Chu vs. Chu race) as he has ignored all our special elections so far. Of course, we all know how we can win back Congress by not winning more seats, right ? Brilliant. But he sure can TALK, can’t he ?

And Happy Ascension Day, too (at least for our Western Hemisphere friends).
