That is the very crux of the matter / the most important point. And yet at the same time it opens the door to another immensely complicated issue: individual guilt. Because of the question: Does that also go for the German soldier drafted against his will?

Look, there are always people around ready, willing and able to collaborate with the enemy. We saw that today when Senator Feinstein of California made a big argument to bring all the GITMO prisoners into the United States.
She's acting as an individual in this matter. No sane person wants those pukes around.
