If you put a match to your veggie burger and it bursts into flames, then it has too much hexane in it. ;-)

FWIW, and IMHO there is no such thing a human-digestible “all natural” soy protein. Kidney beans, pinto beans, string beans etc, sure — but not SOY beans.

No need for hexane at all.

Take wheat, grind it into a fine powder commonly known as flour. Use no modern chemicals, use only a mortar and pestle. Grind it very, very fine.

Take a handful and toss it up into the air in a closed room above a lit candle.

Oh, BTW — make sure you have medical insurance and your will kept up to date before you do this.

Ok. I'll bite. Why is that, exactly?

For the record, green soybeans taste like rancid fish smells to me, but the dried ones are fine.
