When my battalion was near Baghdad, we were fighting the Iraqis. The majority of the Iraqis helped us, but some of the Iraqis wanted to kill us.
Well of course there are Iraqi terrorists and sympathisers, I mean the populace in general. (Though my brother found the people in Kosovo much more amiable, all in all).
My brother saw their Iraqi translator killed before his eyes when their (whatever vehicle it was, I don’t recall) went over -I also forget the acronym for an unidentified explosive device. I don’t know the details, he was very sketchy about it.
