Of course Politico is biased. But occaisionally they publish a story worth reading.

I like this too (from the article):

“He’s got a very fixed ideology,” said Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.), the committee’s chairman, adding that other conservatives on the committee — including Hensarling — are more flexible than Price.

“What [Price] does doesn’t affect the product; it affects the message,” Frank said. “He’s not trying to attract Democratic votes; he’s trying to embarrass Democrats.”

Price’s reaction to Frank’s assessment: “One person’s embarrassment is another person’s accountability.”

Being more flexible in Barney Frank's parlance is not a good thing. It is a code word for abandoning your values and the truth and letting the voter get the worst of it.
