An army unit has rescued a family who are claiming the Taliban tried to force them to marry off their daughters to members of the group in Matta tehsil of Swat, according to a private TV channel. The mother of the girls told the channel, “They were forcing us ... we did not want to marry off our daughters to them.” She said the Taliban also shot and injured the girls’ father, Hidayatullah, for not agreeing to their demand. Troops then launched a daring effort to rescue the family, and shifted them to a safer location, said the channel, adding that three troops were injured in the operation. daily times monitor

Perhaps Pres__ent ☻bama can use that to find some "common ground" with them.
This is only one incident out of thousands. The Taliban taking wives by force has been going on for years. It’s an act of aggression.
I risk public censure and flamage to suggest that Hidayatullah and his family are Muslims, and the Taliban are Muslims, and that one of these groups of Muslims is not our enemy, and that we must be circumspect when advocating actions with regard to Muslims.

In the name of that is holy to the liberal left: diversity, tolerance and respect of all cultures I don’t see a problem here.

Well, our president wants to help out the “Moderate Taleban”. Whatever that might be. As far as I can see, the Taleban, whether moderate or extreme are terrorising the moderate people.
This cartoon should be sent to every feminazi AND shown in our schools to children, for this is how women were viewed throughout most of history - as less than animals.
Western society has forgotten the struggles that took place to free women (and men) from this bondage. We have forgotten that a mere 100 years ago, an American woman who had money and property could be sent to an asylum for the remainder of her life, while her husband or other male relatives seized her assets.
Thank you, liberal educators, for revisionist history. Without you folks we might have remembered that the “price of Liberty is eternal vigilance”. < /sarcasm>
