How was the decision made to pick out the dealers that are being closed?
There was a dealer on the east coast who was in the top 2% nationwide in revenue - it's on the chopping block. There was the suggestion that campaign donations were the reasoning - but there was another post here that says in the west, a dealer who supported libs is on the list.
There seems to be no rhyme or reason.
Obvious. Hes a Republican.
I believe one of their criteria was to get rid of one-brand dealerships.
So if you just sold Dodges, but not Chrysler or Jeep, you were on the chopping block.
Can’t recall where I heard that, might have been on Cavuto (no web source in any event).
Take a look at the photo. The guy is a racist - only two black guys and a few hispanics. Hopefully a few years in a re-education camp will help him become a more fair and just business owner.
Pure speculation on my part:
1) Look at the employee photo in the above picture/post....NOT ENOUGH MINORITIES/WHITE OWNED...or
Voter registration of owners checked....Closed down all (R) or those that didn't give $$ to Obama.
Just my $0.02.
Makes me ponder the ethnicity and ACORN connections of the newly designated owner... hmm.
a hat. An a$$hat in the WH.
Therein lies the problem - no one is telling the dealers the criteria. From what I’ve heard on the news, some of the dealers being closed are top dealers in their area and their business is being given to less productive dealers.
I heard one commentator speculate that it has to do with dealerships on property owned by the auto company.
