Probably because he is from the Jacksonville area and because the Mayo clinic is in Jacksonville and because it is a great hospital. Call me crazy.
Do you think he’ll be taking advantage of the “death with dignity” legislation that he proudly calls his legacy? Or do you think that was just for the little people?
And he does have other hospitals to choose from. I’m sure he could find one of the doctors who sided with him against Terri Schiavo, if that’s really what he wanted.
Funny how the Mayo Clinic was a bunch of quacks when they sided with Terri Schiavo, but now that it’s Jim King’s life we’re talking about, it’s a great hospital.
