Governor Mitt Romney to Campaign for Bill Bolling

Events in Newport News and Virginia Beach

Dear Friends:

I am pleased to announce that former Republican presidential candidate and Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney will be my special guest for a fundraising breakfast in Newport News and a fundraising luncheon in Virginia Beach on May 29th.

I was proud to serve as the Virginia Chairman for Governor Romney's presidential campaign.  Now, I am delighted that he is coming back to Virginia to support my re-election campaign.
Romney and Bolling
Governor Romney knows more about the economy, creating jobs and building businesses than almost anyone in American politics today.  He understands that Bob McDonnell and I have the experience and record of results to create new jobs, grow the economy and find realistic and workable solutions to the challenges we face in Virginia.

I hope you will plan now to come out and meet Governor Romney and support my re-election campaign in Newport News or Virginia Beach on May 29th.

Details for both of these events are set forth below.  Please contact Carli Mugford at carli.mugford@billbolling.com or 804-612-9122 to make your reservation today!

I just sent this to Carli:

Hey Carli,

I'm not too hot on Romney. I don't want a government run health care system or a Massachusetts Governor for President. I like Bill and he has my vote because he is principled and has a proven record as a conservative, maybe next time he can get a speaker that is a little more influential.

You should ask him, since he considers himself to be a conservative, what does he see in Mitt Romney campaigning for him? I think that would be illuminating...magritte

I’m a monthly donor now. Everyone here should try to do that. Put our bucks where our mouths are.

Yeah I don’t know what it is other than money. I did appreciate him not getting into the fight over our previous State party chairman. I’m still peeved at how some like Eric Cantor railroaded Jeff Frederick. We’ll see what happens come the convention. I don’t think they called in Romney for kicks. They may have called him in so to get the Rombots to show up at the state convention and also to discourage the more conservative of the grassroots.

If you happen to get an answer, please post it...I’ll tell you honestly, around my area here in MO, Romney is considered a pretty conservative Republican and local Republicans have little problem with him (his religion bothers some, mostly Evangelicals). Dems consider him pretty Conservative as well...a lot of what I see posted here about Romney is totally disregarded or irrelevant to many of the rank-and-file...magritte

Oh, yeah, that’s gonna make Bolling REAL appealing bringing in a Trojan Horse Democrat that demands eternal fealty for doing such an event for him. Real dumb.

If he wants Romney, then he is for socialism, dictatorship, bestiality, backstabbing, and probably worse.
