This guy is a self-appointed political advisor. It seems to me that Palin is telling him (politely) to bugger off.
“Former President Bill Clinton placed a friendly call to Palin after the election...”
F***ing Klintons — no shame whatsoever. Todd should’ve said “the foot you set on Alaskan soil will be the foot that stays when you leave.”
Why in the Eff You See Kay would anyone think Sarah would have anything to do with those creatures? I’m glad she turned it down flatly.
He thought the Clintons could rein in some of the Democratic firepower aimed at her,
You NEVER strike personal deals with the Klintons. EVER!!!! Those who do often end up politically destroyed and/or dead.
The article doesn’t really support the headline, does it.
Palin camp eyed Clinton alliance
Clinton camp eyed Palin alliance for assistance
Nope. They're just spinning it negatively, as usual. Sarah Palin SERIOUSLY bugs the Washington establishment. Gotta love it.
One thing was sure reinforced though, by the revelation of Meg Stapleton's private email to John Coale -- the integrity and character of Sarah Palin. This woman will not sell her supporters out:
While we appreciate your efforts and recognize that a friendship with the Clintons is appropriate, the governor believes (and I concur) that using SarahPAC to pay down Hillarys debt is not a prudent use of the money, Stapleton wrote to Coale in a Feb. 17 e-mail, a few days after he made his pitch to the governor. Contributors who chose between heating their homes and sending in a contribution because they believe in Sarah would be crushed.
Sounds about right to me.
