No, they won’t. Overwhelmingly, they come from the poor, uneducated classes in Latin America. They will be in the group that receives “earned income credits,” not the shrinking group that actually pays taxes. If they are legalized, they will just cost us more.
Speaking in general I think that is a pipe dream. McCain offered amnesty (leading to citizenship) and Obama offered freebies. As in Occam's Razor...or "The simplest explanation for a phenomenon is most likely the correct explanation"...you can tell that illegal Mexicans care more about free social services than citizenship. I think the reason they want amnesty is only so they don't have the fear of deportation, not that there is a burning desire to become taxpaying American citizens. You just don't see that in these protests that have been held. And what about the next wave of illegal aliens who will undercut those granted amnesty?
