Which isn't even close to what you claimed, you said that religion didn't make a difference, but in reality the republicans won a huge margin of the Protestant Hispanic vote in 2004 (between 54% and 63%) and they even won 48% of their vote against Obama.
OK let me rephrase...I don't think it was a major driving force but shouldn't have said it made no difference.
