Not exactly sure what you’re talking about - but as a catholic it is easy to see this more of a Jesuit “influence” than it is a “catholic” one.
No need for another Luther here - the Lutherans are still around and available afterall.
What they need to do is change the name of the university and drop the “catholic” from it’s identity.
Yes, and I'm one of them. There are some dangerous forces trying to push the gay agenda in the Lutheran Church, however. We'll see how that goes. The scriptures need to remain the driving force in a church - after all, without the Bible, how can it be Christianity?
Where I now live, there's a Baptist Church on every corner, so that option does exist here. Where I grew up, there was a Catholic Church on every corner. There are choices, though there are bound to be arguments as to which is the "true" religion. :-)
