If white southern Protestants like me acted this way I’d be ashamed of my own kind and angry at them too....but they don’t thankfully.
underneath it all I think folks like Hersh are just bigoted towards Christian culture of what they percieve as that...I’ve heard that myself from Jews I know.
If a Christian acts that way towards Jews then they are rightly scorned, hence the shoe can damn well fit on the other foot too..

This is generally true and is something we can all be proud of. Recently, I have noticed a rise in objectionable anti-Jewish comments. The fact that someone descends from Lithuanian Jewish ancestors doesn't seem relevant to the current discussion.
