Re: Told he had 90 days to live, Ted Kennedy an inspiration 1 year later

Whoa! Just think how great Teddy would be... if he had been told he didn't have a chinaman's chance!

Which brings us to this week's episode of "Chan's Revenge" or... "Did Charlie really say that?"

"Ancient Chinese philosopher say... Photobucket 'Ted Kennedy like mother-in-law, pain in ass that will not go away quickly!'"

Da da da da dum... Photobucket bump bump bump bump!

Da da da da dum... Photobucket bump bump bump bump!

Number One Son, if you keep leading... Photobucket will be forced to rename you 'Sulu's revenge!"

Why ask me about Ted Kennedy... Photobucket all you white people look alike to me.

Ted Kennedy like ancient egg... Photobucket Old yoke that smell like hell.

Touch nothing until Willows arrive... Photobucket She have ass to die for!

Okay, Campers... which of the following were not said by Charlie:

Optimist only sees doughnut... Photobucket Pessimist sees hole.

Cannot see contents of nut... Photobucket until shell is cracked.

Many strange crimes... Photobucket committed in sewers of Paris.

Unknown deduction like summer lightning... Photobucket strike when least expected.

Role of dead man... Photobucket requires very little acting.

Fingerprints very valuable... Photobucket if detective can catch owner of fingers.

First with correct answer wins Grand Prize... Gets removed from ping list!

Answer here (Charlie said all of these in Charlie Chan in Paris and Charlie Chan's Secret) if you highlight.

This steaming pant load can’t die soon enough, slow enough, or bad enough to suit me. I guess cremation is off the table for safety reasons....

I don't think he could get lard ass in his mouth.
Maybe Ted better keep throwing down the brewskis.

Of course, Conservative columnist Robert Novak has lived just as long with the same cancer. Being a conservative he doesn’t provide the same kind of inspiration.

And I'm SURE that every person in the USA who wants an airlift to Duke University Medical Center and who wants to be operated on by Allan Friedman will get that level of care, right?

Oh, those wascally Wepublicans! Keeping the people down in the name of profits!

Tomorrow is the day of jubilee! March on Duke! Bring your sick! Line the stretchers up outside the door!

Paging Dr. Friedman! Paging Dr. Friedman!

What to you mean his clinic is in Barbados? What do you mean the nurse practitioner is here to see me?

What do you mean by cost benefit? And what's in that syringe you're giving me?

I know the answer, but I’m not telling...I don’t want to be removed from the ping list. ;)

Ted Kennedy IS a cancer. The reason why the glioma hasn’t killed him off yet is . . . professional courtesy.

He's no inspiration for society. He's a burden on society. Not because of his cancer but because of his long career of inflicting damage on society and the country.

My best friend’s mom was told she had only a 2 percent chance of making it past 6 months so my best friend and her fiancee moved up their wedding and had it in 2 weeks instead of the year they had planned (It was one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever been in. Everyone chipped in to pull it off. The wedding was at noon on a Friday in order to get the church she had been baptized, communioned and confirmed in) Well her mother has made it 7 years now and has been there for her son’s wedding, to become a grandma for the first time (and then second and third time), to see my friend graduate law school and her sister graduate college.

I can’t stand him as far as I can throw him but agree. And I heard he is letting them do tests and other things hoping the research will help if not help save him save others down the road.

I think they told him he had a year to live....back in 1970.

There's news today that his cancer's in remission and he's going to come back to “lead the fight” for Obama’s socialized medicine bill. Essentially, a guy who benefited from the best medical care in the world is going back to work to see that nobody else gets it. Hardly laudable.

Yeah this is the type of thing I would expect from liberals (re: responses to Reagen and Falwell’s deaths). Conservatives shouldn’t behave in that way.

Yep. People have bitched at me for showing no mercy. Why should I? Perhaps if he’d resign his seat and spend his remaining time with family and doing things he enjoys.....but, of course, he won’t. He’ll spend every possible moment he has left on earth in the Senate, smiling and giving us the finger, because he knows how we feel. He’ll devote every minute he has left to making sure we stay miserable. This POS, along with Waxman, Pelosi, and others, is lower than pond scum, and is the cause of EVERYTHING I DESPISE IN LIFE! No way will I ever feel mercy. Tell it to Mary Jo.
