Yesterday Eternal Vigilance had a web side that covered the protest.
Through the generosity of a fine pro-life gentleman in South Bend (one who has been so outraged by what is going on he went in and got arrested with Fr. Norm and Alan and the others yesterday), we have full use of the old State Theater for nightly gatherings.
It’s downtown near the intersection of Michigan and Jefferson. Last night, Norma McCorvey, the “Roe” in Roe vs. Wade, was one of our guests there. She has come to walk onto the campus today and be arrested if that’s what “Fr.” Jenkins’ minions want.
She has never been arrested in a pro-life protest before, so as you can imagine, this is a major step for her personally. God bless her.
Randall Terry’s website has been quite helpful in keeping folks informed. He and his small army of volunteers have done the heavy lifting on the ground, and deserve all our thanks. That site is at: http://www.stopobamanotredame.com.
Our AIP leaders have been very active as well. I was there this week for two days helping get things set up. Our Michigan Chairman, Patrick Flynn, in addition to getting arrested last Friday as a Catholic witness against this incredible scandal, has done most of the hard work of making the Theater, which has been closed for some time, usable. Many of our other people, including many of our state leaders from all over the place, are either now in South Bend or will be there shortly.
