NUMBERS COUNT. If many people show up, this will show 'Sacramento' we are SICKENED by being beaten up by escalating taxes and Public Union LARGESS, esp during a RECESSION!!!! I hope some of you can attend. It starts at 4 pm, but I plan to get there a couple hours early. It LARGE NUMBERS TURN OUT, this will force the Media to acknowledge we are FED UP! What does the result of a vote on any Proposition in California really matter? Seems to me, if the results are not to the liking of the committed Left, it is challenged in Court, ignored and the opponents vilified/threatened. (Prime example, Prop 8).

End result is the will of the voter is ignored.

1. Others might try to claim that this is a “tea party”, as happened with J&K’s event in Fullerton. Neither of them would have any patience for Galt loons.

2. While very large rallies will certainly have an impact, and J&K might end up having played a large role in the props going down, something far, far more effective would be to embarrass the other side (broadly construed) on video by asking them “prosecutorial-style” questions (i.e., not just rants, open-ended questions, etc.) That can then be uploaded to Youtube to have an impact on their careers. That would also help undercut the MSM by completely cutting them out of the picture and using Youtube as the delivery medium rather than waiting for the MSM to cover something.

BTW: I’ve been pushing the second idea for over two years, with near zero interest from others.

I agree with everything you said. We can’t give up and I am very pro Tea Parties and rallies. I do believe they are working and that the libs are getting the message, and getting nervous. It is time “We The People” made our voices loud and clear. When people complain that the rallies aren’t working and indicate that we should give up—I wonder if they are really a conservative or just trying to throw a wet blanket on our momentum. Good luck with the protest.

I salute you all for your efforts. However, you are spinning your wheels. The politicians stopped listening many years ago. The only recourse now is "civil disobedience", not that I am promoting that that. Maybe there ARE a few of you "Tea Party" protesters who would risk jail and fines, but I would limit that entire 10's of thousands to maybe 70 at the most. You have lives to protect.

Yes, you could be a glorious martyr. How many of you will go that distance? How many of you will risk your families, jobs, homes, livelihoods? How many? Speak up now. Here's your chance. Let the Fedgov know you will no longer be under their thumb. Say it loud and proud. What, no righteous Constitutionalists taking their stand?

Before you give me crap about being a WebWarrior, just know that I was out on the streets as far back as 1997, with sign and bullhorn in hand. I know the drill better than most.
