What kinds of guns was Romney talking about? I'm curious ... I can't conceive of a weapon designed for "the sole purpose of hunting down and killing people" that wouldn't also serve very well for self-defense, particularly during during times of urban upheaval or informal free militia.

Romney is such a putz and it's so disgusting that so many gullible people fall for his phony schmooze. Next time the NRA calls our house (that will be tomorrow!), I'm going to let them know that Romney having anything to do with the NRA puts the NRA in danger. Grave danger? "Is there any other kind?"

He was talking about "assault weapons" so it's hard to say exactly what firearms he meant specifically. He said it right after signing the Mass assault weapons ban.
