Well, it looks like even ACORN can’t get these things to pass. They will fail by at best 60%. More likely, 65-70 percent NO vote. (So sez the best pollster we know.

"It should be illegal for any Californian to move into another state unless they can prove having not voted for Obama, Arnold, Pelosi, Newsom, in fact anyone in the San Fran government..."

I know two state where the majority would vote for just that - Nevada and Arizona. Idiot Californians fled what THEY created in CA - then started voting for the same crap in both states, to the point where one waitress in AZ told me, 'I wish you Californians would just drop off into the ocean, because you keep coming here, after messing up CA, and make the same mess here!'

It’s not stupid to want to curtail the actions of stupid voters - I don’t give a hoot where they hail from. Making Californian liberals unwelcome in other states is a good idea, not a bad one.

The problem is that although the measures will go down in defeat, the pubs here in ca will vote for a budget that raises taxes during the next budget cycle. We need TOTAL RECALL here.

BS - 'the pubs' will not all vote for raising taxes. Yes two or three might, but the rest have been good reps, sticking to principle. The ones that have not will be given their walking papers. Where are the Independents? Nowhere to be seen, none voting - none being voted for.

'Nuff said.

The illegal aliens that the democrats bus to the polls, vote for democrats. The unregistered disaffected out of state college and university students awash in marxist indoctrination from the education system and organized by Acorn vote for democrats.

The law abiding taxpaying registered voters are clearly out numbered.

The corruption is very deep.

Some you don't quite get it.

The feds have literally dumped tens of millions of foreigners, and illegal aliens into America in just the past 9 years or so...

The Feds have intentionally and completely undermined and compromised our entire system....THAT INCLUDES OUR ELECTORAL PROCESS, as most of these people wouldn't know the difference between a ham sandwich and conservatism, and most could care less, and just want your stinking money.

Funny, ya keep hearing Americans asking each other, "Gezzzz, how do these criminals keep getting elected"?

I still disagree. There were enough sellouts to get the measure on the ballot. Those that are facing recall will be voted on at a later date giving the demons and the nator enough time to put together tax increases which will come up in the next budget vote which happens in the next few months. They will vote in favor of it for spite if they are facing recall. This independent and the rest of my house will be voting no across the board except yes on 1F.

To be consistent, you should vote No on 1F as well. First, because every conservative I know understands just how non-binding and useless the prop is. Here's one take by the editorial board of the Orange County Register.

Prop. 1F is an unnecessary exercise in venting. It would deny pay raises to legislators if they don't adopt a balanced budget as constitutionally required. However, even this feel-good measure creates a perverse incentive. As Assemblyman Chuck DeVore, R-Irvine, reminded us, a balanced budget can be achieved with tax increases as well as by spending cuts. We agree with Mr. DeVore that this proposition would give legislators a personal, financial incentive to raise taxes to balance the budget so they can get pay raises. What these people don't need is yet another excuse to raise taxes.

This isn't designed to punish poor-performing legislators, it is designed to build a fire under them to vote for more taxation.

Those that vote for 1F believing that it will put the screws to the legislator are woefully misguided, because this will be far more likely to put the screws to taxpayers.

They should be making the convicts do this work for free.

Sometimes they do. In addition, cities and counties all over California have programs where inmates clean up freeways, graffiti, parks etc...Not to mention, thousands of them fight fires every year.

The Feds will bail Kalifornia out of this mess.

The feds owe most of the states tens of billions for failing to perform one of their few responsibilities, which is secure and protect our borders and our sovereignty.

The cost of millions of illegal aliens is crippling many services all across this country, not just in Cal.

That my be so. Right now I’m leaning toward yes on 1F. If the pubs vote to raise taxes to balance the budget just so they can get raises, then they are no better than those they argue against. They’re already ALL overpaid and pampered too much. Actually I am more in favor of TOTAL RECALL! I think a proposisiton should be put forth that doesn’t allow unions or corporations as an entity to make ANY political contributions except on an individual basis.
