I'm sure there is fault with the customer too.

Still, it's frustrating because no one has ever been able to show me any evidence cell phones can interfere with aviation electronics. They sure as heck didn't bring down any planes on 9-11 when plenty were in use.

This rule strikes me as shear Luddite fear of technology.
