Anyone else wishing it had been President Cheney in command and Vice President Bush in the undisclosed location?

I do!

I always thought that Cheney had the onions that Bush lacked!

No.

I love Dick Cheney, but, I find that no reason to cast W in a disparaging light.

I always thought the ticket was upside down.

Not even close.

Neither is Cheney wishing that their roles had been reversed. Nor would he like being used to batter his friend and boss.

Perhaps in 100 years, the history books may reveal what really happened here:

and here:

Because after some of the curious events this week, it seems as if
Team Obama has overplayed its hand, and/or someone is fighting back
from within.

Exactly. Things might have gone in a better direction if we had had a Cheney/Bush ticket.

Gosh yes! The ticket was upside down. Cheney actually was the brains behind the W.O.T.

When GWB tried to speak spontaneously, he came across as a feisty rube. Cheney, on the other hand, contested his opponents with class and eloquence. Anyone who thinks Bush was eloquent is delusional.

Bush won the war on terror and I’m so glad he & Cheney were at the helm during that period of history. But he lost the hearts and minds of the middle of the political spectrum.

He allowed the media to redefine what Republicans are in the way the media wanted to portray them. In that sense he was a terrible figurehead for his party.
